Kuta, Bali, is not only for singles on vacation but also for families. Even though Kuta is not the only tourist town in Bali, it still is my favorite. Maybe because all my vacation stays, as a young lad, was in Kuta.
I love visiting Bali every year. Bali is my “jump off” point when I spend time in Indonesia. I like vegging for a couple days, after my long flight from Phoenix, in Bali before I head out for my scuba diving adventure as well as catching up with friends in Bali and the island of Java.

As the father of an 11-month-old baby, I’m usually pretty apprehensive about leaving my house in Surabaya for any reason other than solo business travel, a much-needed trip to the local gym, or an ambitious evening of strolling in the mall just a few kilometers down the street.
