It was awesome to dive at Lembeh Resort, www.lembehresort.com, this past September 2010. The dive side of the house, critters@lembeh was just fabulous. The managers, Hergen Spalink and Kerri Bingham, run a fun and tight ship. Their team were outstanding and I will come back down the road to visit them.
Lembeh resort, a spectacular boutique style resort, is situated on Lembeh Island and perched above the beautiful Strait in the Northern Sulawesi island of Indonesia. All guest cottages have perfect views of the glorious North Sulawesi sunsets and an intimate connection with nature. Modern amenities including air-conditioning, mini bar, wife internet, and massage ensure your comfort and relaxation after a great day of diving.
I have never understood nor have I mucked / macro dived till this week with Lembeh Resort. I realized that I have no patience and so muck diving is a great place to help me learn patience, one dive at a time. It took about the 4th dive to realize that the “small things” are really “big” because it is just like a treasure hunt on land. The critters@lembeh team helped me push my envelope and now I have a better appreciation of those “little critters.”
Lembeh Resort is tucked away around tons of lush trees and natural foliage. It is a spectacular boutique style resort. The only downside to my week stay with Lembeh Resort was that I didn’t have any one to share the amazing digs and diving here. Maybe by the next visit with these folks I will have a wife who loves to travel and dive with me! I am praying and crossing my fingers on that thought!
And yes, we can’t forget about the amazing “to die for” coffee.
Cheers,
